Inspect Your Deaerator Regularly
You do not need to take your deaerator apart to conduct an inspection. These machines need only minimal maintenance to continue functioning as intended. Within the first few days of operation, inspect your deaerator to make sure it is working as it should. Your tray valve should be clean and clear of any dirt. Inspect all joints for any leaks and tighten bolts as necessary. After the first few days, conduct visual inspections just twice per year.
Replace Worn or Damaged Parts
A deaerator from a trusted supplier can last decades with proper care and maintenance. The same is true for its parts, including trays and valves. If you notice low outlet temperature, tray upset, high O2 or other issueswith your deaerator, however, you may need replacement tray valves.
