The diet focuses on consuming a combination of complex carbohydrates, low-calorie vegetables and fruits, and increasing water intake to help you lose a substantial amount of weight within just a week.
6. Blood type diet
The concept behind the blood type diet is that your blood type be it A, AB, B or O, affects the types of food you eat. People with type A blood should switch to a vegetarian diet. Whereas O blood group should eat fruits and vegetables, seafood and meat and avoid legumes, grains and corn. Similarly B type people should have more proteins and those with AB must have more of tofu, green vegetables, seafood, fish, dairy products and grains and legumes.
7. Alkaline diet
Alkaline diet is also known as the alkaline ash diet. This diet cuts out acidic foods like meat, dairy, sweets, caffeine, alcohol, artificial and processed foods and encourages to consume more of alkaline-rich foods like fresh fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds.
8. Cauliflower diet
This diet completely excludes carbohydrate which is replaced by cauliflower. For example cauliflower is boiled and pulsed and then made into pizza base, rice, cookie dough etc.

The acai berry diet essentially involves having acai berry to lose weight. The acai berry is rich in antioxidants that helps in protecting the body from damage caused by free radicals in the body and may possibly help against diseases such as heart disease and cancer.
